5% tax waiver for appointing 10% physically challenged workforce

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal in his proposed budget for FY22 encouraged investors with offering tax facilities to recruit physically challenged people in their organisations.

“If any organisation appoints 10 percent physically challenged people of its total workforce, it will be given a five percent tax waiver,” Kamal said in the budget speech.

The finance minister placed the national budget worth Tk 6,03,681 crore before the parliament on Thursday.
