Bidder pays Tk238cr for spaceflight with Bezos

A bidder has bought a seat alongside Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon and his brother Mark on board the first crewed spaceflight of the billionaire's company Blue Origin for $28 million, equivalent to Tk 238 crore on Saturday.
The ride is scheduled for July 20, reports BBC. The bidding attracted interest from more than 140 countries.
The name of the highest bidder in the monthlong auction would be revealed in the upcoming weeks, Blue Origin tweeted.
After a nearly month-long bidding process, the top bid stood at just under $5 million.
But after Saturday’s online auction the figure increased more than five times.
However, it is said that the winning bid amount will be donated to Blue Origin’s foundation.
