All international flights from Bangladesh will remain suspended till May 5 in line with the extension of lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Chairman M Mofidur Rahman told the Business Insider Bangladesh on Tuesday that the decision was made since the lockdown was extended for seven days till May 5.
He, however, said considering the plight of migrant workers of the country, chartered flights will be in operation connecting six countries as before.
Earlier, CAAB suspended the international flights till April 21 and later extended the suspension for seven days.
