Samsung brings budget-friendly Galaxy A12

Samsung Bangladesh has rolled out a new device of its A-series equipped with quad cameras and a 5,000mAh battery.

Called Galaxy A12, the smartphone is now available at Picaboo, an e-commerce site, for pre-order, said a press release.

The sale on the platform will continue until March 19 and customers can enjoy several benefits, it added.

"Digital transformation has already started in Bangladesh, and people are slowly embracing digital devices and understanding the important roles it plays in our lives,” Head of Mobile of Samsung Bangladesh Md Muyeedur Rahman said.

“We are excited to add the devices to our budget-friendly line for most of our customers to increase smartphone penetration across the nation. Moreover, we are also enthusiastic about bringing another robust device for our Galaxy A series," he added.

The Samsung A12 is packed with quad cameras, with 48MP as the primary sensor, 5MP with 120-degree ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth.

Besides, the smartphone offers a 10x zoom, letting people capture shots from a decent distance.

The front camera comes with an 8MP sensor to allow users to capture social media-worthy shots. The front sensor also supports Live Focus and HDR mode.

Galaxy A12 come with a 5,000mAh battery which can easily last for an entire day even with heavy usages like intense gaming, online classes, work and meeting.

Besides, the smartphone supports AI (Artificial Intelligence) game booster, which allows a smoother gaming experience. On top of it, the device comes with a 6.50-inch Infinity-V display with Dolby Atmos support.

A combination of the battery, display, and speakers make Galaxy A12 a device for gamers and those who want to experience video contents.

The smartphone runs on Samsung's One UI 2.5 based on Android 10. The device has a MediaTek Helio P35 Octa-core chipset inside.
