The much-awaited third city corporation election started in Narayanganj amid a festive mood today.
Voters are gathering in different centres to cast their votes through electronic voting machines for the first time in this city corporation election instead of traditional ballot papers.
In this election, there are 517,357 voters - including 257,519 females. However, there are some 42,418 first-time voters.
