World Tourism Day is celebrated each year on September 27 to spread awareness about the importance of tourism and its impact on our society.
This year, the theme of the day is ‘Tourism for Inclusive Growth’.
The government and different organisations have chalked out various programmes, maintaining the health protocols due to the Covid-19 pandemic, to celebrate the day.
Today, on the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali inaugurated the rally discussion meeting and cooking at Agargaon in the capital.
