Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) has opened 203rd branch at Terokhada in Khulna on Sunday.
Director of the Bank Md Anowar Hossain inaugurated the new branch as chief guest, read a press release.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Farman R Chowdhury presided over the ceremony.
Terokhada Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Mollah Shorafat Hossain Mufti; Terokhada Union Parishad Chairman Wahiduzzaman Ahid; Ikhrikatinga Secondary School Teacher and Former Union Chairman Maulana Sharafat Hossain Tipu and Pantita Polytechnic College Principal Abdul Gaffar spoke at the branch opening ceremony.
Senior Executive Vice President Engr Md Habib Ullah also spoke in the occasion.
Senior Vice President and Head of PRD Jalal Ahmed conducted the ceremony.
A large number of local people and well-wishers were present in the inauguration ceremony. Khulna Zonal Head Md Mojibar Rahman thanked the audience.
