Singapore Transport Minister S Iswaran has resigned from the government and parliament, the prime minister said Thursday, after the cabinet minister was charged with 27 offences in a rare high-level corruption probe.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said Iswaran submitted his resignation on January 16 after being given formal notice of the charges against him, reports BSS/AFP.
