ICAB CPD portal Inaugurated

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) organised a members' conference on ICAB CPD Policy and the inauguration ceremony of ICAB Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Portal at CA Bhaban in the capital recently.

Mustafa Jabbar, former Minister, Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology, was present at the event as the chief guest.

Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, former managing director (Grade-1), Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority also was present as the special guest, said a press release on Thursday.

President-ICAB Md Moniruzzaman delivered the address of welcome while vice president MBM Lutful Hadee gave the concluding remarks, reports BSS.

ICAB chief executive officer Shubhashish Bose gave the opening remarks while Sabbir Ahmed, member council - ICAB and co-chairman, CPD Committee of the Council - ICAB moderated the session.

Sidhartha Barua, member council - ICAB and chairman, CPD Committee of the Council - ICAB presented the keynote paper on ICAB CPD Policy while Mohammad Deloar Hossain, senior deputy director and head of IT Division, ICAB demonstrated the ICAB CPD Portal.

Vice president Md. Yasin Miah, former president and council member Md. Shahadat Hossain, council members Mohammed Forkan Uddin, Fouzia Haque, Maria Howlader and other fellow members of the Institute were present, among others.
