ShareTrip introduces digital payment solution ST pay

The Travel tech platform ShareTrip has introduced a digital payment solution named ST Pay (ShareTrip Pay) first of its kind in the country introduced by a travel management company.

ST Pay comprises a number of beneficial financial tools including vouchers, shop, mobile recharge and pay bill to offer more dimensions to user experience, reports BSS.

These were revealed at the ShareTrip’s 4th anniversary celebration at a city hotel on Sunday evening where the country’s one of the leading travel tech platform also announced a second round of investment from the Startup Bangladesh Limited (SBL), the flagship venture capital backed by the ICT Division.

At the celebration, it was also announced that ShareTrip has been taking multi-faceted steps to turn it into a lifestyle brand in addition to meeting all the necessities of the globetrotters.

The tech platform has already revamped its website, packed with an array of innovative new features for redefining the travel experience in this regards.

State Minister of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak spoke as chief guest while the ICT Division secretary Md. Shamsul Arefin and Managing Director & CEO of Startup Bangladesh Ltd Sami Ahmed spoke as special guest and guest of honor respectively.

“ShareTrip has been making significant contributions within the country’s tourism sector by seamlessly aligning travel with technology; and now, they are working to expand their horizons and introduce an array of lifestyle features ensuring convenience from all aspects,” Palak said.

ShareTrip Co-Founder and CEO Sadia Haque said that their journey had been a relentless pursuit of global milestones and transforming travel experiences for everyone.

On the occasion, 43 awards in different categories, including airline, hotels, agents, financial institutions, corporate and telco were bestowed on ShareTrip’s partners.
