The government on Sunday launched the ‘Mujib 100’ app, which will help the present and future generations of the country know about the life and works of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The app along with a website — mujib100.gov.bd — was launched marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation.

The app will showcase different events of Bangabandhu’s life, virtual tour to the places related to him, photo archive, writings, documentaries, letters, logos and instructions.

Through this app, the young generation will be inspired to read various quotes made from the perception of Bangabandhu’s political and personal life, and will get to know about the great leader closely, said a press release.

Both the website and the mobile app have been developed by the Department of Information and Communication Technology.

State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the app at a ceremony held in Dhaka.

“The app is highly recommended for those who want to do research on Bangabandhu,” Palak said at the launching ceremony.
