Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will not be able to participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021, as he did not get no-objection certificate or NOC for CPL because of the national duty.
Shakib has some great performances in the CPL. However, he did not play in the last edition of the CPL due to the ban.
The CPL will start on the August 26 and end in mid-September.
All in all, including the quarantine issue, each player has to stay in the Caribbean for about a month.
At that time, Bangladesh will be busy with international cricket.
Franchises have announced full squads for all the teams before the start of the CPL. Shakib was included in Jamaica Tallawahs.
However, Shakib's name is not kept in the final squad.
Bangladesh will play five-match T20I series against New Zealand from September 1. The world's best all-rounder will start preparations for the series by entering the bio-bubble on August 24.
