Bangladesh need 194 runs to win the leveled series in the third and final T20I against hosts Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club Sunday.
Opener Tadiwanashe Marumani and Wessley Madhevere had a flying start in the series deciding T20 before Mohammad Saifuddin bowled out Marumani for 27 runs. Madhevere scored highest 54 runs, while Regis Chakabva smashed 48 from just 22 balls.
Soumya Sarkar retuned Chakabva and Sikandar Raza for naught. Shoriful Islam and Shakib Al Hasan bagged a wicket each.
Earlier, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and decided to bat first.
Bangladesh made one change as Nasum Ahmed replaces Mahedi Hasan and the hosts remained unchanged.
Bangladesh won the first T20I by 8 wickets before suffering a 23-run defeat in the successive game. Visitors will look to finish the tour of Zimbabwe on a high note as they take on the home side in the series-deciding third T20.
