Mohammad Naim and Soumya Sarker laid the foundations for the chase with their 102-run opening stand of 79 deliveries in the first T20 against Zimbabwe in Harare on Thursday.
With this win in the T20 match, Bangladesh continued its dominance over Zimbabwe after the Test and ODI series.
Soumya was run out at 50, but Naim finished the match with his unbeaten 66 runs of 51 balls.
After winning the toss, Sikandar Raza, the Zimbabwe captain, chose to bat first and posted a fighting total of 152 runs.
Mustafizur Rahman grabbed 3 wickets for 31 runs and Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin took two wickets each.
Zimbabwe rested Brendan Taylor and Sean Williams, while Dion Myers made his T20I debut.
