Bangladesh lost 3 wickets for 50 runs in chase for 241 in the second ODI against Zimbabwe despite scoring 39 runs by openers.
Zimbabwe scored 240 runs for nine wickets in the second ODI against Bangladesh at Harare on Sunday.
Pacer Shoriful Islam took 4 wickets for 46 runs while Shakib Al Hasan bagged 2 wickets.
Madhevere made 56, which is his highest score in ODIs.
Bangladesh won the first ODI on Friday and if they can win this match they will seal the series today.
