Uttara Bank posts 12.5% cash, 12.5% stock dividend

Uttara Bank Limited has declared 12.50 percent cash and 12.50 percent stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2020.

In a filing with Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday, the company reported consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of Tk4.28, a 14.74 percent increase from Tk3.73 a year earlier.

Its consolidated net asset value (NAV) per share was Tk34.79, down from Tk38.36 and consolidated net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk38.53, an increase from Tk14.74 in the negative during the same period.

The bank also said the stock dividend was recommended to strengthen the capital base of the bank to support business growth and the stock dividend was declared out of accumulated profit.

The annual general meeting of the company is scheduled to take place on May 20.
