Zimbabwe could not start well with the bat as they lost three early wickets in the second match of the three-match ODI series in the Harare Sports Culb on Sunday.

The hosts lost Takudzwanashe Kaitano and Innocent Kaia after collecting 13 runs inside just the first three overs. Hasan Mahmud picked up those wickets.

Kaitano walked off for a golden duck. He tried to defend but the ball kissed his bat and went behind. Mushfiqur Rahim did not make any mistake to grab it.

Kaia who smashed a century was the second batter to leave the crease after scoring seven runs. He threw his wicket in a similar fashion.

Later in the eighth over, Mehidy Hasan Miraz joined the party as he dismissed Wesley Madhevere. He made two off 16 before leaving the crease. The batter tried to sweep but missed and the ball struck in front of off.

Tadiwanashe Marumani and Sikandar Raza were in the middle and after the end of 10 overs, Zimbabwe bagged 30 runs.

Earlier, Bangladesh posted 290 runs after losing nine wickets. Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad hit half-centuries while Najmul Hossain Shanto and Afif Hossain played brilliantly as well.
