It was a flying start for Bangladesh against Zimbabwe after asking to bat first in the second match of the three-match ODI series at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday.

Tiger skipper Tamim Iqbal and Ananmul Haque Bijoy started the innings for the visitors. Litton Das was ruled out of the series as he sustained an injury in the first match which they lost by five wickets.

Tamim brought up his second fifty in this series with the help of 10 gorgeous-looking boundaries and a maximum. He took just 44 balls to reach there. However, he gave away his wicket in the nest ball. Tanaka Chivanga was the wicket-taker.

Bijoy from the other end was moving slowly but could not carry on and walked off after scoring 20 off 25 deliveries.

Afterward, Mushfiqur Rahim and Najmul Hossain Shanto were looking sharp in the middle but Mushfiqur walked back to the pavilion after scoring 25 runs. Wesley Madhevere removed him.

Post that, Mahmudullah Riyad and Shanto tried to make a big partnership. However, this time Shanto was the man to depart as Madhevere claimed his second wicket of the match

After the end of 30 overs, Bangladesh were 150 for four. Mahmudullah and Afif Hossain were in the middle.
