Bangladesh vs Malaysia ends in draw

The clash between Bangladesh and Malaysia FIFA tier-1 International friendly match ended in a scoreless draw at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamala Stadium in the city's Kamalapur on Sunday. However, the hosts won the two-match series by 1-0.

After a thumping victory against Malaysia in the first match, people were waiting for another surprise from the Bangladesh eve football team. 

The hosts dominated the match like the previous one, but could not find the back of the net against the team who are 61 steps ahead of them in FIFA ranking.

Akhi Khatun who netted two goals in the first match got a few opportunities to give her side the lead. But Malaysia’s goalkeeper played brilliantly and did not allow any shot to convert into a goal.
