The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest all-rounder rankings on Wednesday where Bangladesh Test skipper Shakib Al Hasan moved up two spots to second behind the Indian left-hander Ravindra Jadeja.

After being appointed as the new Test captain, Shakib could not perform well with the ball but he was the highest Bangladeshi run-getter in the first Test against West Indies which helped him to move up.

The veteran all-rounder hit back to back half-centuries in that Test while the other Tiger batters were struggling to score and eventually lost the match by seven wickets.

Shakib is in the second spot with 346 rating points, while Jadeja topped the list with 385 points. The all-rounder also jumped up 14 places to 32nd on the latest Test batting rankings.
