Shoriful Islam has been included in the Bangladesh squad for the second and final Test. According to a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) press release, the seamer will leave for St Lucia on Monday night.

The left-arm fast bowler sustained an injury when he was hit on his finger by Kasun Rajitha in the first Test against Sri Lanka in Chattogram. For that injury, he was ruled out for five weeks and missed the rest of the series.

He was not eventually added to the squad and missed the first Test against West Indies as well.

Bangladesh lost to West Indies by seven wickets in the opening Test at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on Sunday.

The Tigers set an 84-run target for the Windies and they needed only 35 runs on day 4 to go 1-0 up in the ongoing Test series. John Campbell and Jermaine Blackwood took just six overs to reach the target.

The Tigers will try to come back to square the series. The second Test is scheduled to start on June 24.
