Bangladesh used two fast bowlers - Khaled Ahmed and Shoriful Islam in the first Test in Chittagong's 'batting-friendly' wicket. However, these two pacers could not take any advantage at all. They were wicketless in both the innings, though Shoriful could not bowl in the second innings due to injury.

The Test ended in a draw. The second and final Test will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur and there the wicket is spin-friendly.

Tigers Test captain Mominul Haque was asked about the possible XI at a press conference on Sunday. Later, he was asked whether he wanted to use one fast bowler in the Dhak Test or not. Mominul replied in a negative but did not open his mouth about the possible XI.

"I don’t know if you have seen me play with a single pacer since I became captain. I don't think one pacer will play. Maybe even three (pacers) can play, ”said Muminul. That means, Muminul is not in favour of using one seamer.

''When you start something at times, there will be obstacles. Taskin played very well till the time he was with us while Shoriful also contributed. It's a big chance for those who will replace them (in the playing XI).

''As a Test skipper, I want there should be a couple of pace bowlers and there should be a healthy competition, so this is an opportunity for me (to see the bench strength) and see how we can develop in the future.”

Shoriful was dropped due to injury. Taskin Ahmed is also out of the team. Khaled could not perform well in the Chattogram Test. So, is there any possibility for Rejaur Rahman Raja to play in the final Test in Dhaka?

Muminul's clear words were something like this, “For now, there is no possibility. That does not mean that he will be thrown out."

Meanwhile, he hinted that Ebadot Hossain will be in the playing XI. ''I always want to remain optimistic. In South Africa's second Test, he failed to pick the length and failed to bowl as he does but we always practice in Dhaka and I feel he (Ebadot) knows the conditions well and will make a good comeback. This is a big chance for Ebadot."
