Shoriful ruled out of SL series

Shoriful Islam could not play the Test against South Africa due to injury. The left-arm pacer was dropped again in the ongoing Test Series versus Sri Lanka after batting and bowling in one innings.

Bangladesh will miss the service of this seamer on the fifth and final day of the ChattagramTest. He will not be available for the second Test of the series in Dhaka due to injury. 

Shoriful appeared to be in some pain in his hand when he attempted to hit hard but the ball knocked his hand. He was struggling and was given out. 

In the absence of Shoriful, the Tigers have to play with four bowlers in the second innings of Sri Lanka - Shakib Al Hasan, Taijul Islam, Naeem Hasan and Khaled Ahmed.
