Bangladesh is all set to take on Sri Lanka in a two-match Test series with the first one kicking off in Chittagong on Sunday. The second Test will start in Dhaka on May 23.

The Tigers started the year on a high note as they defeated the World Test Champion New Zealand in their own soil. The series ended in a 1-1 draw as the Kiwis won the second Test.

Later, Bangladesh played against South Africa. The Tigers won the ODI series but lost the Test series by 0-2. In both the matches, Bangladesh batters struggled a lot. They were bowled out for 53 and 80 runs in respective second innings. 

On the other hand, the bowlers could not fulfil the expectation as well, particularly in the second Test.
