Javier Cabrera has become the new coach of the national football team. His first assignment was to be held in Indonesia.
Earlier, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced that Bangladesh would play two matches on January 24 and 27 against the hosts in Bali. But the matches have been canceled as not all Bangladeshi players are vaccinated twice.
Kazi Nabil Ahmed, president of the national team management committee and vice-president of BFF, said this in a video message that we were supposed to play two matches in Indonesia. But all the players and team members must be properly (two doses) vaccinated.
He said, “At present, 15 players have been vaccinated. Seven have been given one dose and six have not been vaccinated. Due to this, two matches are cancelled.”
Corona double dose vaccination is now being made mandatory for players in the world of sports. In many countries of the world, foreign nationals cannot go without two doses of corona vaccine.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has vaccinated almost all the cricketers by bringing vaccines from the government. BFF also collected vaccines from the government. But even then, it’s unknown why some players did not get vaccinated.
