Real Madrid win 2-0, Milan defeated by Liverpool

Real Madrid beat Inter Milan by 2-0 in the final round of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) group game. With that victory, the Spanish giants finished as group toppers while Inter came second.
German midfielder Tony Kroos opened the scoring in the 17th minute. His gorgeous-looking shot beat the Nerazzurri goalkeeper and found the back of the net. It was Real Madrid’s 1000th UEFA Champions League (UCL) goal.
In the 64th minute, Inter player Nicolo Barella received a red card for pushing Eder Militao. Militao was booked as well.
Later, Marco Asensio stretched the lead to make it 2-0 in the 79th minute of the match and Los Blancos left the field with all three points.
In the other match of the night, Liverpool defeated Milan by 2-1. With four points in six group matches, the Italian side are out of the event.
On the other hand, Liverpool are the first English team to win all six group matches. They finished as the topper of group B while Atletico Madrid took the second spot after beating Porto by 3-1.
Fikayo Tomori scored in the 29th minute to make the scoreline 1-0 for Milan. But they couldn’t hold their lead for too long.
The Egyptian star Mohamed Salah found the equalizer in the 36th minute for the Reds. The first half was end in a 1-1 draw.
In the 55th minute, Divoch Origi’s goal pushed the English side in front and they beat Milan by 2-1 at the end.
Milan dominated the game. They took 22 shots while Liverpool took only eight. The Italian side had 52 percent ball position, even their pass accuracy was better than the Reds. But unfortunately, they lost the game and are out of UCL.
