New Zealand set 162-run target for Bangladesh in the last of five-match T20I series at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Friday.

New Zealand skipper after winning the toss on a slow and low surface opted to bat first.

Kiwis made a scorching start as the openers Finn Allen and Rachin Ravindra put on 58 runs in the opening stand.

They reached the 50-run mark within 31 balls. However, young pacer Shoriful made an important breakthrough by dismissing Ravindra and Allen in the last over of powerplay.

Also, It's the highest opening partnership for the Both team in this series being held in the capital’s Mirpur. Ravindra took 17 off 12 while Finn Allen took 41 of 24 balls.

Then, Will Young (6) and de Grandhomme (9) fell prey in a short time.

In the end, New Zealand captain Tom Latham and Henry Nicholls put on some resistance by adding 35 runs for the fifth-wicket stand. Captain Latham scored fifty off 37 balls while McConchie took 17 off 10.
