Bangladesh restricted New Zealand at 93 runs in the fourth of five-match T20I series at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Now, Bangladesh needs 94 runs to seal the series. On the other hand, New Zealand’s target is to save the series by winning on Wednesday and levelling 2-2.
At the beginning of the innings, the tiger spinners put pressure as New Zealand’s top-order batsmen could not play them comfortably. Nasum Ahmed took 4 wickets as well as keeping economical bowling rate while another spinner Mahedi Hasan bagged 1 wicket.
Pacer Mustafizur Rahman also took 4 wickets and Saifuddin dismissed one. Star all-rounder Shakib remained wicketless.
Kiwi batsmen Will Young scored 46 off 48 balls while skipper Tom Latham bagged 21 runs.
