The nearest relatives, including fathers, mothers, wives and husbands, of the poor workers killed in the Narayanganj juice factory fire are seen on the rush to find out dead bodies at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue area in the capital on Friday afternoon.
Some 40 unidentified dead bodies of the accident have so far been taken to the DMCH morgue, according to the Narayangonj District administration.
Narayanganj Additional Deputy Commissioner Shamim Byapari said that the dead bodies were in a condition that it was difficult to identify them.
“We are waiting for the relatives of the deceased. They can help identify the bodies,” he added. “Besides, we can go for DNA test if needed,” he informed.
