The ferry service on the Paturia-Daulatdia route has been suspended again from 7:30 am on Sunday. As a result, many people are stuck waiting for the crossing. And as the day progresses, the pressure on passengers and vehicles is expected to increase further.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) teams have been deployed on the Paturia-Daulatdia and Shimulia-Banglabazar routes in Manikganj and Munshiganj from tonight to stop the mad rush of homebound people.
