In Pictures: Demands to repeal Digital Security Act mount

Various organisations including students of different left-leaning bodies on Saturday staged demonstrations in capital Dhaka demanding a proper investigation of the custodial death of writer Mushtaq Ahmed and repealing the controversial Digital Security Act.

Mushtaq, who died in Kashimpur Central Jail on Thursday night, was arrested in May 2020 in a case filed under the Digital Security Act and charged with spreading misinformation against the government on social media.
