The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations were published on Thursday, showing a pass percentage of 93.58.

The pass rate of SSC examination is 94.08 percent while that of madrasa 93.33 percent and technical 88.49 percent.

A total of 1,83,340 students got the highest grade point average (GPA 5) in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations under the 11 education boards this year.

This year, 2,240,395 students –-1,142,094 boys and 1,098,301 girls-- took part in the SSC and its equivalent examinations from 29,035 institutes under 11 education boards in the country. Of them, 2,096,546 successfully cleared the exams.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina published the results, joining a function at Bangabandhu International Conference (BICC) virtually from her official residence Ganobhaban in the morning.

On behalf of the Prime Minister, Education Minister Dipu Moni received the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations-2021 and related statistics from the chairmen of all the education boards.
