Hafsa Majumder, mother of Pubali Bank director Rana Laila Hafiz, died in Dhaka on Sunday.
Hafsa Majumder, also mother-in-law of Hafiz Ahmed Majumder, member of parliament of the Sylhet-5 constituency, Pubali Bank’s former chairman and Bangladesh Red Crescent Society’s immediate past chairman, was undergoing treatment at United Hospital in the capital, said a press release.
Pubali Bank’s board of directors and employees expressed deep condolence at the death and prayed for her departed soul.
