Bangladesh Bank promotes Parimal Chandra Chakraborty as executive director

Parimal Chandra Chakraborty, the general manager of EEF unit under Bangladesh Bank, has been promoted as the executive director.

He received the promotion on January 2 this year.

Hailing from Dhamrai of Dhaka district, he completed his honours and masters degree from Jagannath College (at present Jagannath University). Later, he obtained MBA from the Pundra University of Science and Technology.

Also, he pursued an advanced certificate course on Human Resources Management.

Parimal Chandra Chakraborty joined at Bangladesh Bank in 1993 as an assistant director of the bank.

He has served important roles in different areas of the country including the headquarters of Bangladesh Bank, Bogura and Rangpur offices.

For his excellent service, he received Bangladesh Bank Employees Recognition Award 2016.

He also has travelled various countries including Singapore, Germany, and Malaysia as part of his professional roles.
