'Amazon’s antitrust paradox' is simply an article written in 2016 by a student at Yale Law School. It became gradually the tale of the American tech market and its giants. The article became very popular in civil society and among both Democrats and Republicans. The riveting article is the brainchild of Leena Khan, an associate professor of law at Columbia Law School. Pakistani-origin Lina Khan became known for her work in antitrust and competition law in the United States.

Khan alleged, “The Tech Giants are too big now to control. The companies could use their tools predatory pricing and get the market under control to harm smaller firms.” The content of the article was very thoughtful and it sparked American policymakers including President Joe Biden. As a result, Lina khan became an iconic figure in the USA.

Last June, Joe Biden blew the whistle and appointed Lina Khan as the chairperson of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It was just a big blow to the US big tech companies like Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Now the companies are concerned about forthcoming legislation in congress that would curb their superiority in the market. They are also the grave concerns of Lina Khan. Because the gutsy lady could make things happen and that would be the worst thing in the history of the US business.

Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Apple are highly popular with common people around the world for their products and services. In the job market, companies are also the best choice for the young generation. They become global companies for their huge contribution to the world economy. The tech tycoons are breaching competition law so that they are under immense pressure from Congress as well as regulators. Their market power is not under control but out of control. The companies are erasing smaller competitors and the consumers are at a big stake.

Lina M Khan is 32 years old. She is the youngest chairperson in FTC history. She was born in the UK. Her family moved to the USA when she was 11 years old. She is pretty, professional, and full of personality. She got the guts to tell the truth and have the ability to complete the mission of the US government.

Presently Lina Khan became a nightmare to Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Steve Wozniak, and Bill Gates. Big voices are already raised from different corners of US society to scrap the companies like Standard Oil. It is already expressed inside Amazon’s antitrust paradox article.

The road map is under process by a bipartisan group of House lawmakers. A Judiciary panel also is investigating the tech giants. They are working on Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Apple. The business community is expecting a legislative overhaul would be the final step to control the big giants which were mapped out by Lina Khan earlier.

The attorneys general of multiple states have pursued antitrust cases against Big Tech companies, some states joined with the Justice Department as well as the FTC. So, state authorities and US Justice Department and the FTC in their landmark antitrust lawsuits against Google and Facebook last year.

Khan already has big fans and followers who strongly believe in her success. They do believe and mean that Khan now has teeth to back up her cherished mission. The New commission is about to process a legal battle against Facebook for its personal social networking which was maintained illegally. It drives monopoly business through a years-long that was f anticompetitive conduct”

Senator Elizabeth Warren is a big fan of Lina Khan. She boastfully expressed that “Lina brings deep knowledge and expertise to this role and will be a fearless champion for consumers. She also called for breakups in the US tech industries.

Lawmakers of both Republicans and Democrats expressed stronger oversight of the tech industry. They are arguing that massive market power is not good for fair business. They become out of control and just erase smaller competitors, consumers privacy would be under big threat.

Some activists bragged that Giant tech companies must face growing scrutiny, and consolidation is choking off competition across American industries. They are quite happy with Lina and strongly believe that Lina Khan is the most powerful person and the right person for competition law. This is the high time to make a drastically structural change by reviving antitrust enforcement and fight against monopolies that threaten US economy, society and democracy.”

However, Ms Khan’s appointment is a frustrating issue for the owners, shareholders and even the employees of big tech companies. The US chamber of commerce raised the grave concern of the new FTC chairperson. They already challenged the appointment of Leena khan.

According to the New York Post, the FTC is wagging for war on American affairs. That would be a big threat to free enterprise, American competitiveness and economic growth. The American Chamber of Commerce issued three letters on Friday openly protesting against the practices of the competition authority, the FTC, under the aegis of its new president Lina Khan, who strongly reaffirmed his intention to fight for consumers.

At present, Big Tech are now in the same position as Standard Oil situation in 1880-1911. The standard Oil company was a titan of the US business community between 1880 to 1911. It was established in 1870 by business tycoon John Rockefeller and Henry Flagler. It was initially an oil-producing and refining company. It became the largest oil refiner in the world as well as the world’s largest multinational company in 10 years. By 1880 Standard Oil owned and controlled 90 per cent of the US oil refining business. The company started to dominate the market with its monopoly market tools. It became so powerful and dominating that most of its competitors became sick and finally declared bankruptcy. They breached competition law vertically, horizontally, and all other ways with their aggressive policy. At that time there was no business competition at all. It frustrated the US business community, civil society, and finally the Government.

The US government took the firm initiative to pass the Sherman Antitrust Act in 1890. It was the first legislative drive by Congress to prohibit trusts. There was no business competition at all. It frustrated the US business community, civil society, and finally the Government. The US government took the firm initiative to pass the Sherman Antitrust Act in 1890. It was the first legislative drive by Congress to prohibit trusts.

The act was named by John Sherman. He was a very popular leader. He was a senator of Ohio and also the Chairman of the Senate finance committee. Again, he was the Secretary of the Treasury in the period of President Hayes. The prime issue of enacting the Sherman Antitrust Act 1890 was to regulate and control interstate commerce. The prime issue of enacting the Sherman Antitrust Act 1890 was to regulate and control interstate commerce. The act passed the Senate on April 8, 1890, by a vote of 51–1. Again, it was passed by the House by a unanimous vote of 242–0 on June 20, 1890. Finally, President Benjamin Harrison signed and the bill into law on July 2, 1890.

After passing the Sherman Antitrust Act 1890, the US government started groundbreaking work on fair business in the interstates. There were huge constraints in the way to clean up monopoly business. Finally, a legal battle was initiated by the US government in 1906. After five years of legal proceedings, the US Supreme Court declared the dissolution of the Standard Oil trust into 34 smaller companies. The successors of Standard Oil are still doing business with their supremacy. ExxonMobil, Marathon Petroleum, Amoco, and Chevron are in the global market. The companies are part of Standard Oil.

American business is passing a perilous time. There are some predators in Tech Business who erase small businesses. The US people need a saviour. I believe and mean to say that, Lina Khan is the perfect person who can end the game.
