Brother of Premium Sweets owner, 2 others killed in Canada road crash

Dhaka (May 15, 2021): Three Bangladeshi nationals, including Moniruzzaman Bijoy, brother of Premium Sweets owner HM Iqbal died in a road accident in Canada on Thursday.

The accident also took lives of Bijoy’s mother and father-in-laws.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon (local time) when they were travelling from Toronto to Ottawa.

Bijoy breathed his last at a hospital in Toronto and his in-laws died on the accident spot.

Since 1999, Premium Sweets has grown as boutique Bengali dessert brand. Principal product line includes over 100 varieties of pure Bengal desserts under "Premium Sweets" brand and slow cooked savory dishes, ready to eat meals under "Dal & Chal" brand.
