Bangladesh embassy in US launches online visa tracking system

Bangladesh embassy in Washington DC has launched an online tracking system to enable expatriate applicants to know the status of their passport, visa, No Visa Required seal and dual nationality certificate, reports the Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.

The tracking system will inform the applicants all stages of processing of their applications by automatically-generated e-mail, according to a press release received in Dhaka on Saturday.

This service has been introduced as a part of improving consular service in the celebration of the “Mujib Borsho”, the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Users can browse the link: http://bdembassyusatracking.org/ from their computer and cell phone.

Bangladesh Ambassador to the USA M Shahidul Islam inaugurated the tracking system, it added.
