BGMEA donates hi-flow cannula to dedicated Covid-19 hospitals

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association on Tuesday provided 15 German-made high flow nasal cannula and other emergency lifesaving medical equipment to the dedicated Covid-19 Hospitals under Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) for the help of Covid patients.

At the same time, BGMEA has provided 50,000 pieces of masks to various hospitals for distribution.

On Tuesday (July 20th), BGMEA President Faruque Hassan handed over the life-saving medical equipment to DNCC Mayor Md Atiqul Islam.

BGMEA President Faruque Hassan said, the Association has stood by the nation in various crises motivated by social responsibility. Earlier, BGMEA had handed over masks to DNCC for distribution to various quarters including health workers, law enforcement agencies and media personnel.

He urged everyone to follow proper hygiene rules, wear masks and not go out of the house unnecessarily, to ward off coronavirus infection.

DNCC Mayor Md. Atiqul Islam thanked the BGMEA leaders for providing emergency life savings machines to dedicated Covid-19 hospitals for aiding Corona patients.
