Kitchen markets, grocery shops to remain open in 9am-3pm

The market and shopping malls will remain closed across the country during the one-week stricter lockdown to begin from April 14 to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Besides, the kitchen market and grocery shops will remain opened from 9:00am to 3:00pm during the lockdown, the government came up with the discloser in a gazette notification issued on Monday.

The government, in the gazette notification, said all public and private and offices of all autonomous bodies and financial institution will remain closed but the employees and officials will have to stay at their respective work stations.

At the same time, bus and train services and communication through water way will remain suspended.
