All-out lockdown: Govt imposes fresh restrictions, closes offices for a week

The government on Monday issued a notification in which it clarified how the coming all-out lockdown will be.

In the Cabinet Division issued fresh instructions for complete lockdown starting from Wednesday, the government asked all offices to be closed until April 21.

It also announced new open-hours for shops and restaurants.

As per a notification, the Cabinet Division said the shops and kitchen market will remain open from 9 am to 3 pm.

Opening hours for restaurants will be from 12 pm to 7 pm and 12 am to 6 am for only foods take away and online order.

Bus, rail and domestic and international flights will remain suspended during the all-out lockdown.

Productions in factories and garments, however, are allowed to remain open with proper health measures.

Freight traffic on roads and waterways will remain open along with the ports, the notification says.

Supply of raw materials, medicine, agriculture goods will be allowed, it added.

All kinds of emergency services like law enforcement, fire brigade, electricity, water, media, health care, telecom and internet will be out of the lockdown restriction, the notification says.
