Bangladesh an important country: Biden

During a recent meeting with Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States M Shahidul Islam, the US President Joe Biden said that Bangladesh is an important country.

In the meeting at the White House the Bangladesh ambassador conveyed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s invitation to President Biden.

"Honoured to have an audience with US President in the Oval Office, White House," said the Bangladesh ambassador.

Bangladesh and the United States had a series of bilateral meetings this year as both sides want to strengthen their ties to address the challenges.
