The 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination was held across the country on Friday.
The test began simultaneously in centres of eight divisional cities-- Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Barishal, Khulna, Sylhet, Mymensingh and Rangpur at 10:00 am and continued till 12 noon.
A total of 3,50,716 aspirants took part in the examination against 1,710 posts.
The candidate will not be allowed to carry books, all kinds of watches, mobile phones, calculators, all kinds of electronic devices, bank card or credit card like devices, ornaments and bags in the exam halls.
