15 named for Bangla Academy Award 2021

Bangla Academy has named fifteen distinguished individuals as the recipients of the Bangla Academy Literature Award 2021.

The academy announced the names in a press release signed by its Secretary AHM Lokman issued on Sunday.

The awards will be given to 15 individuals for their contribution to Bangla literature, said the media release.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the award to the recipients at the inaugural programme of this year’s Ekushey Book Fair, the press release read.

The recipients are Asad Mannan, Bimal Guha, Jhorna Rahman, Bishwajit Chowdhury, Hosenuddin Hossain, Aminur Rahman, Rafiq-Um-Muneer, Sadhana Ahmed, Rafiqur Rashid, Panna Kaiser, Harun-Or-Rashid, Shuvagata Chowdhury, Sufia Khatun, Haider Akbar Khan Rono, and Aminur Rahman Sultan.
