Uber rolls out services in Rangpur, now covers all 8 divisions

Uber on Wednesday announced it has begun serving riders and drivers in Rangpur, marking the company’s expansion to all the eight divisions of Bangladesh.

Uber rode into Rangpur with one of its most popular products, Uber Moto. Bangladesh is one of the largest Moto markets for Uber, and the Rangpur launch is a reiteration of the popularity of the product, said a press release.

Launched in 2016, Uber quickly became the ride-sharing platform of choice in Bangladesh by offering convenient, affordable and safe ways to go from point A to point B.

Bangladesh also represents a tremendous opportunity for the company. Since its launch 5 years ago, it has served over 4.9 million riders and almost 2,00,000 driver-partners.

The Rangpur launch will not only help riders to experience hassle-free, affordable and safe commutes but also unlock meaningful earning opportunities for driver-partners.
