President gives assent to nine bills

President M Abdul Hamid has given his assent to nine bills adopted in the 15th Session of the Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad (JS).

According to an official handout issued, the president gave the assent to those nine bills on Tuesday.

The bills are: Leader of the Opposition and Deputy Leader (Remuneration and Privileges) Bill, 2021, Special Security Forces Bill, 2021, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2021, Bangladesh Tour Operators and Tour Guides (Registration and Management) Bill, 2021, Banker’s Evidence Bill, 2021, Highways Bill, 2021, Territorial Waters and Maritime Zones (Amendment) Bill, 2021, Bangladesh Supreme Court Judges (Remuneration and Privileges) Bill, 2021 and Judge of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh (Travel Allowance) Bill, 2021, reports Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha.
