Bangladesh is going to vaccinate 80 lakh people in a single day on September 28 (Tuesday) marking the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque told this at a virtual press briefing on Sunday.

“Some 80,000 people across the country will work for this mass first dose vaccination on Tuesday,” he said.

People can take the vaccines by showing their ID cards or vaccine cards, he said, adding that anyone of 25 years and above can avail the facility.

But people above 40 years will be given priority, he noted.
