Q2 earnings of Robi decrease 31%

Mobile operator company Robi Axiata has posted about 31 percent decrease in its earnings in the second quarter ended June 2021 as against the same quarter last year.
Its earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk 0.09 in Q2, an decrease of 31 percent from Tk 0.12 recorded in the same period a year earlier, said the insurer in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
As of June 30, 2021, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share stood at Tk 12.45 against Tk 13.90 as on December 31, 2020.
Meanwhile, the company's earnings per share (EPS) for the first six months of the current financial year (January-June '21) stood at Tk 0.15.
The earnings per share (EPS) for the same period of the previous financial year was Tk 0.16. As a result, the company's profit has decreased by Tk 0.01 or 6 percent.
