Stocks open flat, NBFIs, telco, jute sectors rally

Stocks opened flat on Sunday after a marginal rise in the previous session.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained marginally 5 points or 0.09 percent to 6,313, pulled up by mainly NBFIs, jute, and telecommunication sectors.
Other indices, the Shariah-based DSES index edged 2 points or 0.18 percent higher to 1,361, and the blue-chip DS30 index moved down fractionally 0.28 points or 0.01 percent to 2,274.
