Stocks gain at open

Stocks opened higher on Wednesday after closing flat in the previous session.
In the first 30 minutes into the trade, the benchmark DSEX index rose 41 points or 0.69 percent to 6,063. The rally was led mostly by the cement, NBFI and textile sectors.
Other indices, the Shariah-based DSES index gained 6 points or 0.52 percent to 1,290 and the blue-chip DS30 index moved up 10 points or 0.49 percent to 2,187.
