68 firms raise Tk 4,831cr through IPOs in 6 years: Kamal

Sixty-eight companies raised Tk 4,831 crore from the stock market through initial public offerings (IPOs) in the last six years, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has said.
He provided the information during the question-and-answer session in parliament on Monday.
From the FY2014-15 to the FY2020-21, the companies raised the amount through the IPO and one company through Qualified Investor Offer raised Tk 7.5 crore, he said.
